1 cup Black Chickpea Soaked & Boiled
2 pc Onion Chopped
1 pc Tomato chopped
4 pc Green Chili Chopped
3 pc Potatoes Boiled & mashed
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
2 tbsp Curd
1 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
3 tbsp Mint Leaves
2 tbsp Coriander leaves
Directions
- Into a large bowl, take overnight soaked and properly boiled black chickpeas 1 cup.
- Add finely chopped mint 3 tbsp, chopped onion 2 pcs, chopped tomato 1 pc, chopped green chilies 4 pcs – mix well.
- Add boiled & mashed potatoes 3 pcs – stir well.
- Add salt 1 tsp, cumin powder 1/2 tsp, coriander powder 1 tsp, red chili powder 1/2 tsp – mix everything well.
- Add curd 2 tbsp, tamarind pulp 1 tbsp, lemon juice 1 tbsp – give it a last stir & toss to mix well.
- Delicious black chana chaat is ready !

- You can use pressure cooker for easy boiling of the chickpeas before adding to the chaat.
