  • Marinating The Chicken
  • 500 gm Chicken Boneless

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder

  • 1 tsp Vinegar

  • 1 tbsp All Purpose Flour

  • 3 tbsp Corn Flour

  • 1 pc Egg

  • Preparing Chili Chicken
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil

  • 1 tbsp Chopped Garlic

  • 3 pc Green Chili Slits

  • 1/2 cup Onion Cubes

  • 1/2 cup Capsicum Cubes

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder

  • 1/2 tbsp Vinegar

  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup

  • 1 tbsp Chili Paste

  • Preparing Corn Flour Slurry
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour

  • 3 tbsp Water


  • Marinating The Chicken
  • Into a large bowl, add boneless chicken 500 gm, salt 1/2 tsp, black pepper powder 1/2 tsp, vinegar 1 tsp, all purpose flour 1 tbsp, corn flour 3 tbsp, egg 1 pc – let it marinate for 1 hour.
  • Frying Chicken
  • Into a heating wok, add cooking oil for frying and pre-heat the oil before adding the chicken pieces into it.
  • Fry the chicken (both sides)until light brown and take the fried chicken pieces into a plate and keep aside.
  • Preparing Chili Chicken
  • Into a heating wok, add cooking oil 2 tbsp, chopped garlic 1 tbsp, green chili slits 3 pcs, onion petals 1/2 cup, capsicum cubes 1/2 cup, salt 1/2 tsp, black pepper powder 1/4 tsp – fry it for about 1 – 2 minutes on high heat.
  • After, add vinegar 1/2 tbsp, soya sauce 1 tbsp, tomato ketchup 2 tbsp, chili paste 1 tbsp – give it a quick stir – 1 minute around on high heat.
  • Now, add corn flour slurry into the wok and cook for about 1 minute, then add fried chicken pieces into it.
  • Toss & Mix everything well for few seconds on high heat.
  • Serve it as a side dish or as a starter.

  • You can use red and yellow capsicum also for this recipe.
  • Cut the chicken pieces into bite size pieces.
  • You can keep the chicken marinated overnight for better results.
